Anti-Bullying Committee is refreshed in the new session of 2017-18. The new committee held its first meeting on 20th April 2017 under the chairmanship of the Principal with the following committee members

•  Ms. Minoo Bhatia (Middle Level Co-ordinator)

•  Ms. Rannu Pathak (Senior Level Co-ordinator)
•  Ms. Shruti Jindal (EVGC)
•  Ms. Swasti Nayak (EVGC)
•  Mr. Chandan (PET)

The Principal read out the circulars received from Directorate Of Education (DOE), Govt. of NCT. Delhi in order to refresh all the committee members regarding prevention of Bullying and Ragging in the Schools


She also read out Code of Conduct for the students received from Directorate Of Education (DOE), Govt. of NCT. Delhi

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

The following are the acts and misconduct which amount to forbidden practices.

•  Absence from classes without the permission of the teacher/Coordinator/ Principal

•  Misbehavior towards teachers or any other employee of the school

•  Disobeying lawful orders of the teacher/Coordinator/ Principal

•  Intentional disturbance of classes.

•  Bullying/Ragging and rude behavior

•  Eve-teasing/misbehavior toward girl students

•  Bringing unauthorized people/articles inside the school

•  Bringing electronic gazette/mobile phones in the school

•  Indulging in acts of moral turpitude.

•  Any behavior unbecoming of a student.

•  Smoking/Chewing gutkha/paan/Khaini etc.

•  Use of motor vehicle like scooty/moped etc. by the student and bringing these in the school

•  Use of drugs or intoxicant (except on prescription by a registered medical practitioner)

•  Any form of gambling.

•  Theft/pilferage of school/ students' property.

•  Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property.

•  Spitting in or near the school building except where the spiting is made in any spittoon provided by the school.

•  Use of violence in any form.

•  Casteism, Communalism or practice of untouchability.

•  Propagating a strike/ disruption of classes

•  Association with banned organization

All these above acts of misconduct are the forbidden practices. In the above acts of misconduct, Principal/coordinator shall take suitable action as per observation of the disciplinary committee at school level depending upon gravity of misconduct, which may include:

•  Oral/written warning to the students and parents

•  Detention during the break for completion of neglected class work.

•  Suspension from attending classes /school for a specified period.

•  Recovery of loss through replacement to school property due to willful damage.

•  Expulsion/rustication from school for students of classes IX to XII in rarest of rare cases.

Duties were assigned to all the committee members to ensure smooth way of dealing with Bullying cases in the school
